Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "How amazing is the affair of the believer! Indeed, his affair is all good, and that is not for anyone except the believer. If good befalls him, he is grateful, so it is good for him, and if harm befalls him 1, he is patient, so it is good for him."

٥٠٩٢ - وَعَنْ صُهَيْبِ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «عَجَبًا لِأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ، إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ، وَلَيْسَ ذَاكَ لِأَحَدٍ إِلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ، إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ، فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ، وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ1 صَبَرَ، فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

سیدنا صہیب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
نے فرمایا: مسلمان کا معاملہ تعجب کا ہے، اس کا سارا معاملہ اس کے 1 لئے خیر ہے اور ایسا مومن کے
سوا کسی کو حاصل نہیں ہے، اگر اس کو خوشی ملتی ہے تو اس پر شکر ادا کرتا ہے اور یہ اس کے لئے بہتر ہے
اور اگر اس کو تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو صبر کرتا ہے اور یہ بھی اس کے لئے بہتر ہے۔ (مسلم)۔
