Abdullah ibn Abi al-Jan’aa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Through the intercession 1 of one man from my nation, more people than the tribe of Banu Tamim will enter Paradise.”

نے کہا: میں نے رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: میری امت کے ایک آدمی کی
شفاعت 2 سے، بنو تمیم قبیلہ سے زیادہ لوگ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے۔ (ترمذی، دارمی)۔

(1) His statement: “Through the intercession of one man…”: Some said the man is Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him). Others said it is Uwais al-Qarni, and others suggested someone else. Zayn al-Arab (may Allah be pleased with him) said this is the most likely. (As stated in Al-Mirqat)
