Abu Sa’id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The ascent is a mountain of fire that the disbeliever climbs for seventy autumns and falls back down forever.” 1

٥٤٤٦ - وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ (رضي الله عنه) عَنْ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «الصَّعُودُ جَبَلٌ مِنْ نَارٍ يَتَصَعَّدُ فِيهِ الْكَافِرُ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا وَيَهْوِي فِيهِ كَذَلِكَ أَبَدًا».1 رَوَاهُ التَّرْمِذِيُّ.

سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ حضرت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
سے روایت کرتے ہیں آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: صعود ”آگ کا ایک پہاڑ ہے، جس میں دوزخی
ستر سال چڑھے گا اور اس سے گرے گا، وہ اس میں ہمیشہ1 اسی طرح گرتا رہے گا“۔ (ترمذی)۔
