Narrated from the Prophet ﷺ: "Tayammum consists of striking the ground for the face, and striking the arms up to the elbows." [Narrated by al-Daraqutni, who said: "All of its narrators are trustworthy,"]
Al-Hakim narrated something similar, saying: "The chain of narration is authentic."
