Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The first time for Maghrib prayer is when the sun sets, and the last time for it is when the twilight disappears." [Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and Ahmad]
In another narration by al-Tabarani, it is mentioned: "Then the call for Maghrib prayer was made when the sun had set, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed it until the whiteness of the day nearly disappeared, which is the twilight as seen." Al-Haythami said its chain of narration is Hasan.
