It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Whoever comes to this mosque of mine, only coming for good—to learn or teach—he is like a Mujahid in the cause of Allah. Whoever comes for any other reason is like a man looking at the property of others."

ف: اس حدیث میں مذکور ہے کہ جو شخص مسجد نبوی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کسی نیک کام کیلئے نہیں آتا اس کی مثال اس شخص کی طرح ہے جو دوسروں کے سامان کو دیکھتا ہو، اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ جب یہ شخص آخرت میں ان لوگوں کے اجر و ثواب کو دیکھے گا جنہوں نے مسجد نبوی میں خیر کے کام کئے تھے تو اس نے اس مسجد میں کار خیر نہ کر کے حصول اجر کا جو موقع ضائع کر دیا اس پر حسرت کرے گا اور رنجیدہ ہوگا کہ میں کیوں ایسی دولت سے محروم رہا۔(اشعۃ اللمعات)12۔
