It is narrated from Fatimah bint Al-Husayn, from her grandmother Fatimah Al-Kubra (may Allah be pleased with her), that she said: "When the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered the mosque, he would send blessings upon Muhammad and say: 'O Lord, forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your mercy.' And when he left, he would send blessings upon Muhammad and say: 'O Lord, forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your bounty.'" [Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Ahmad, and Ibn Majah]
In their narration, it is mentioned: "When he entered the mosque... and when he left, he would say: 'In the name of Allah, and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah,' instead of sending blessings upon Muhammad."
