Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from Abu Talhah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Convey my greetings of peace to your people, for as far as I know 1, they are chaste and patient.”

(65) قوله: ما علمت۔ میں ”ما“ موصولہ ہے۔ یعنی ان میں موجود صفات کی بنا پر جن کو میں جانتا ہوں۔ اعفة: ”أ“ کو فتح (زبر) ہے ”ع“ کو کسرہ (زیر) ہے ”ف“ کو تشدید ہے۔ عفیف کی جمع ہے اور یہ ”ان“ کی خبر ہے اور ما علمت جملہ معترضہ ہے۔ صبر صاد اور باء دونوں کو ضمہ اور یہ صابر کی جمع ہے۔
