Narrated by Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came out to us while we were disputing about the matter of Qadr (divine predestination). He became angry until his face turned red, as if pomegranate seeds had been crushed in his cheeks. He said: "Was this what you were commanded to do, or was this the message I was sent to you with? Indeed, those who came before you were destroyed when they disputed over this matter. I command you, I command you not to dispute over it."
