Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would recite in Witr: Sabbih isma Rabbika al-A'la (Surah Al-A'la) in the first rak'ah, Qul ya ayyuhal kafirun (Surah Al-Kafirun) in the second rak'ah, and Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad (Surah Al-Ikhlas) in the third rak'ah. He would only perform the Taslim at the end of them and say after the Taslim: 'Subhan al-Malik al-Quddus' (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Holy) three times."
