Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed qunut in the Fajr prayer for only one month and then abandoned it. He had not performed qunut before that month, nor did he perform it afterwards.

١٦٩٢ - وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: لَمْ يَقْنُتْ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الصُّبْحِ إِلَّا شَهْرًا، ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ، لَمْ يَقْنُتْ قَبْلَهُ وَلَا بَعْدَهُ. رَوَاهُ الطَّحَاوِيُّ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَابْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَالْبَزَّارُ.
