Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When the first night of Ramadan comes, the devils and rebellious jinn are chained, the gates of Hell are closed, and none of its gates are opened. The gates of Paradise are opened, and none of its gates are closed. A caller calls out, 'O seeker of good, proceed! O seeker of evil, desist!' And Allah has people whom He frees from the Fire, and that happens every night."

ف: اس حدیث شریف میں ارشاد ہے کہ رمضان المبارک میں شیاطین اور سرکش جن قید کئے جاتے ہیں اس بارے میں صاحب مرقات نے لکھا ہے کہ شیاطین کو اور سرکش جنوں کو اس لئے قید کیا جاتا ہے تاکہ وہ روزہ داروں کے دلوں میں وسوسے نہ ڈالیں اور اس کی علامت یہ ہے کہ رمضان المبارک میں اکثر گناہ گار اپنے گناہوں سے توبہ کرتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف رجوع کرتے ہیں اور بعض لوگوں کو جو دیکھا جاتا ہے کہ رمضان المبارک میں بھی گناہوں سے توبہ نہیں کرتے تو اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ شیاطین کے بہکانے کے پرانے اثرات ان کے دلوں میں جمے رہتے ہیں اور وہ اپنی عادت کے مطابق برائی کرتے رہتے ہیں۔ 12
