Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "On Laylat al-Qadr, Jibril descends with a group of angels, and they pray for everyone standing or sitting in remembrance of Allah. On the day of their Eid, meaning Eid al-Fitr, Allah boasts about them to His angels and says, 'O My angels, what is the reward of a worker who has fulfilled his work?' They say, 'Our Lord, his reward is that he should be given his full reward.' Allah says, 'My angels, My male and female servants have fulfilled their obligation to Me, then they went out supplicating to Me. By My Might, Majesty, Generosity, and Exaltedness, I will answer them.' He says, 'Return, for I have forgiven you and replaced your bad deeds with good deeds.' They return forgiven."
