Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: "While Jibril was sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ), he heard a sound above him. He lifted his head and said, ‘This is a gate of heaven opened today, never opened before. An angel descended and said, "Rejoice in two lights given to you, never given to any prophet before: Al-Fatihah and the closing verses of Surah Al-Baqarah. You will not recite a single letter of them without being granted its reward."’"

ف: اس حدیث شریف میں سورہ فاتحہ اور سورہ بقرہ کی آخری دو آیتوں کو نورین دو نور فرمایا گیا ہے اس بارے میں صاحب مرقات نے لکھا ہے کہ یہ دونوں آیتیں پڑھنے والے لئے قیامت کے دن روشنی کی صورت میں آگے آگے چلیں گے اور جنت کے راستہ کی رہبری کرینگے۔
