Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Do not speak excessively without the remembrance of Allah, for excessive speech without His remembrance hardens the heart. The farthest of people from Allah is the hard-hearted."

ف: صاحب مرقات نے لکھا ہے کہ دل کی سختی کی علامت یہ ہے کہ انسان حق بات سننے سے اعراض کرے اور لوگوں سے میل جول زیادہ رکھے اور اس میں خوف خدا اور خشوع اور گریہ بھی نہ ہو اور آخرت کی یاد سے غافل ہوجائے۔ اور صاحب اشعۃ اللمعات نے لکھا ہے کہ جس شخص میں یہ باتیں پائی جائیں اس کا ذکر قبول نہیں ہوتا ہے۔12
