Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) arrived in Madinah, the Muhajirun came to him and said, “O Messenger of Allah, we have never seen people more generous with abundance or better in supporting with little than the people among whom we settled. They have spared us burden and shared their livelihood with us, so much that we fear they will take all the reward.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Not as long as you pray to Allah for them and praise them.”
