Hadith 3544

Abu Ghalib narrated: Abu Umamah saw heads displayed on the steps of the Damascus mosque and said: “Dogs of Hellfire, the worst of those killed under the sky’s canopy; the best of those killed are those who killed them.” Then he recited: “On a Day when some faces will be whitened and some faces will be blackened” [Al-Imran: 106]. It was said to Abu Umamah: “Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?” He said: “If I had not heard it once, twice, three, four, up to seven times, I would not have told you.”
