Abu Dharr, may God be pleased with him, said: I said: "O Messenger of God, will you not appoint me?" He struck my shoulder with his hand and said: "O Abu Dharr, you are weak, and it is a trust. On the Day of Resurrection, it will be a source of humiliation and regret, except for those who take it rightfully and fulfill its duties." In another narration: "O Abu Dharr, I see you as weak, and I want for you what I want for myself. Do not rule over two people, nor manage an orphan's wealth."
