سیدنا ابوبکرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ
وسلم کو یہ بات پہنچی کہ اہل فارس نے کسریٰ کی بیٹی کو اپنی بادشاہ بنا لیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ قوم ہرگز
کامیاب نہیں ہوگی8 جس نے کسی عورت کو حاکم بنایا ہو۔ (بخاری)۔

(1) Regarding the saying: "A people who entrust their affairs to a woman will never succeed": It is stated in al-Durr al-Mukhtar: Appointing an imam is one of the most important obligations, so it was prioritized over burying the one with miracles. The conditions include being a Muslim, free, male, rational, mature, capable, and from Quraysh, but not Hashimi or Alawi, and infallible.
