Salamah ibn al-Akwa‘ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came upon a group from Aslam practicing archery in the market and said: "Shoot, O sons of Isma‘il, for your father was an archer, and I am with the clan of so-and-so," referring to one of the two teams. They held back their hands, and he said: "What is wrong with them?" They said: "How can we shoot when you are with the clan of so-and-so?" He said: "Shoot, and I am with all of you."
