Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) took his sword, Dhu al-Faqar, as tanfil on the day of Badr. [Narrated by Ibn Majah] Tirmidhi added: It was the sword he saw in his dream on the day of Uhud.
Al-‘Ayni said: The safiyy (leader’s chosen portion) was abrogated, so the leader does not take anything from the spoils for himself, and this is agreed upon.

٣٩٥٠-وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍرضي الله عنه أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَنَفَّلَ سَيْفَهُ ذَا الْفَقَارِ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ. رَوَاهُابْنُ مَاجَه. وَزَادَ الَّترْمِذِيُّ: وَهُوَ الَّذِي رَأَى فِيهِ الرُّؤْيَا يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ.
وَقَالَ الْعَلَّامَةُ الْعَيْنِيُّ: سَقَطَ الصَّفْيُّ فَلَا يَصْطَفِيُّ الْإِمَامُ لِنَفْسِهِ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْغَنِيْمَةِ،وَهَذَا مُجْمَعُ عَلَيْهِ.

ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے
جنگ بدر میں اپنی تلوار ذوالفقار بطور نفل لے لی ہے۔(ابن ماجہ)
امام ترمذی کی روایت میں یہ اضافہ ہے یہی وہ (تلوار) ہے جس کے بارے میں جنگ احد
کے موقعہ پر آپ ﷺ نے خواب دیکھا۔ اور علامہ طیبی نے کہا پس امام اپنی ذات کے لئے مال غنیمت
میں سے کوئی چیز نہیں رکھ لے سکتا اور اس پر اتفاق ہے۔
