Sahl ibn Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never saw refined flour from the time Allah sent him until Allah took him. He said: “He never saw a sieve from the time Allah sent him until Allah took him.” It was asked: “How did you eat unsifted barley?” He said: “We ground it, blew on it, what flew away flew, and what remained we moistened and ate.”
