Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) was brought cheese 3 in Tabuk, called for a knife, said Bismillah, and cut it.

٤١١٤ - وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رضي الله عنهما قَالَ: أُتِيَ3 التَّبِيُّ صلي الله عليه واله وسلم بجبنَةٍ فِي تَبُوكَ، فَدَعَا بِسِكِّينٍفَسَمَّى وَقَطَعَ. رَوَاهُ أَبُوْ دَاوُدَ.

(٣) قوله: أتى النبي صلي الله عليه واله وسلم بجبنة إلخ: إنما أورد الحديث في هذا الباب؛ لأن في صنعته الجبن كان احتمال النجاسة، فأثبتبالحديث أنه طاهر يجوز أكله، ويجوز قطعه بالسكين. كذا في (بذل المجهود).
