Abdur-Rahman ibn Ghanm and Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The best of Allah’s servants are those whose sight reminds one of Allah, and the worst of Allah’s servants are those who carry tales, separate loved ones, and seek hardship for the innocent.”

٤٦٥٠ - وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ وَأَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ (رضي الله عنهما) أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: خِيَارُ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ إِذَا رُءُوا ذُكِرَ اللهُ، وَشِرَارُ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الْمَشَّاءُونَ بِالنَّمِيمَةِ، الْمُفَرِّقُونَ بَيْنَ الْأَحِبَّةِ، الْبَاغُونَ الْبُرَاءَ الْعَنَتَ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي شُعَبِ الْإِيْمَانِ».

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن غنم اور اسماء بنت یزید دونوں سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم
صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ کے نیک بندے وہ ہیں کہ جب ان کو دیکھا جائے تو اللہ یاد
آجائے، اور اللہ کے بندوں میں بدترین وہ ہیں جو چغلی کرتے ہوئے پھرتے ہیں اور محبت کرنے
والے دوستوں کے درمیان جدائی ڈالتے ہیں، پاک آدمیوں میں بے حیائی کے کام تلاش کرتے
