Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I entered Paradise and heard recitation in it. I said, ‘Who is this?’ They said, ‘Harithah ibn An-Nu’man.’ Such is righteousness, such is righteousness 1; he was the most righteous to his mother.” [Narrated in Sharh As-Sunnah and by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman] In his narration: “I slept and saw myself in Paradise” instead of “I entered Paradise.”

Note 1
(1) His statement: “Such is righteousness”: Al-Tayyibi said: This refers to what preceded, addressed to the companions. He saw this vision and recounted it to his companions; when he reached “Harithah ibn An-Nu’man,” he alerted them to the reason for attaining that rank, saying: “Such is righteousness,” meaning such a rank is attained through righteousness. His statement: “he was the most righteous to his mother” is from the narrator. [Extracted from Al-Mirqat]
