Amr ibn Al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “The family of so-and-so are not my allies; my ally is Allah and the righteous believers, but they have kinship I maintain as it deserves.”

٤٧٣٨ - وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُوْلُ: «إِنَّ آلَ أَبِي لَيْسُوا لِي بِأَوْلِيَاءَ إِنَّمَا وَلِيَ اللهُ وَصَالِحُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَلَكِنْ لَهُمْ رَحِمُ أَبُلُّهَا بِبَلَا لِهَا». مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

سیدنا عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: کہ میرے والد کے فلاں خاندان والے میرے
محبوب نہیں ہیں، میرا محبوب تو اللہ اور صالح مومنین ہیں لیکن ان کے لئے رشتہ داری ہے، میں
ان کو صلہ رحمی سے تر کرتا ہوں۔ (متفق علیہ)۔
