Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The strong is not the one who overcomes others by wrestling; rather, the strong is the one who controls himself during anger.”

٤٨٩٨ - وَعَنْهُ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ : لَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ بِالصُّرَعَةِ، إِنَّمَا الشَّدِيدُ الَّذِي يَمْلِكُ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الْغَضَبِ». مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

پچھاڑ دینے سے پہلوان نہیں ہوتا، پہلوان تو وہ ہے جو غصہ کے وقت اپنے نفس پر قابو رکھے۔(متفق علیہ)
