Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Indeed, Allah gives respite to the oppressor until, when 1 He seizes him, He does not let him escape.” Then he recited: “Such is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the towns while they are committing wrong.”

٤٩٢٣ - وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُمْلِي لِلظَّالِمِ حَتَّى إِذَا 1 أَخَذَهُ لَمْ يُفْلِتْهُ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ : وَكَذَلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَا أَخَذَ الْقُرَى وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ الْآيَةَ. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

سیدنا ابو موسیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: رسول
اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ظالم کو ڈھیل دیتا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب 1 اسکو پکڑ لیتا ہے
تو چھوڑتا نہیں، پھر آپ نے یہ آیت تلاوت کی ”وَكَذٰلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَا أَخَذَ الْقُرٰى
وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ“ الایۃ (11 ھود، آیت:102) (آپ کے پروردگار کی پکڑ ایسی ہی ہوتی ہے
جب وہ بستیوں والوں کو پکڑتا ہے جب کہ وہ ظلم کرتے ہیں)۔ (متفق علیہ)۔
