Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard a man burping and said: “Reduce your burping, for the hungriest people on the Day of Resurrection will be those who were most sated in this world.”

٤٩٥٨ - وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ (رضي الله عنهما) أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَتَجَشَّأُ، فَقَالَ: «اقْصِرْ مِنْ جُشَائِكَ، فَإِنَّ أَطْوَلَ النَّاسِ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَطْوَلُهُمْ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا». رَوَاهُ الْبَغَوِيُّ في شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ». وَرَوَى التِّرْمِذِيُّ نحوه.

صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک آدمی کو ڈکار لیتے ہوئے دیکھا تو فرمایا: اپنی ڈکار کو روک لے کیوں کہ بروز قیامت
لوگوں میں بڑا بھوکا وہ ہوگا جو دنیا میں زیادہ پیٹ بھرنے والا تھا۔ (بغوی، شرح السنہ، ترمذی)۔
