Al-Mustawrid ibn Shaddad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “By Allah, the world compared to the Hereafter is like one of you dipping his finger in this.”

٤٩٨٧ - وَعَنْ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُوْلُ: «وَاللَّهِ مَا الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا مِثْلُ مَا يَجْعَلُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِصْبَعَهُ هَذِهِ». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

میں سے کوئی دریا میں اپنی انگلی ڈالے اور دیکھے وہ کتنا لیکر لوٹتی ہے۔(مسلم)۔
