Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said regarding: “And he will be given to drink of purulent water, which he sips” (Ibrahim: 16-17): “It is brought to his mouth, and he detests it. When it nears him, it scorches his face, and the scalp of his head falls off. When he drinks it, it tears his intestines until they exit his rear.” Allah, the Exalted, says: “And they were given scalding water that tore their intestines” (Muhammad: 15), and: “And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like molten brass that scorches their faces” (Al-Kahf: 29).
