It is narrated from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If people knew what is in the Adhan, they would fight over it with swords."

۹۱۲ - وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ : أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي التَّأْذِيْنِ لَتَضَارَبُوا عَلَيْهِ بِالسَّيْفِ». رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ.

ارشاد فرمایا: اگر لوگوں کو معلوم ہوتا کہ اذان دینے میں کیا فضیلت ہے تو(ہر شخص اذان دینا چاہتا اس
لئے) اذان دینے کیلئے تلواریں لے کر لڑ پڑتے۔(اس کی روایت امام احمد نے کی ہے۔)
