It is narrated from Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "Indeed, those before you used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous people as places of worship. Do not take graves as places of worship, for I forbid you from that."

٩٥٩ - وَعَنْ جُنْدُبٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُوْلُ: «أَلَا وَإِنَّ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ كَانُوا يَتَّخِذُوْنَ قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ وَصَالِحِيْهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ، أَلَا فَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْقُبُوْرَ مَسَاجِدَ، إِنِّي أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

مت بنایا کرو میں تم کو اس سے منع کر رہا ہوں۔ (اس کی روایت مسلم نے کی ہے۔)
