It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, graze in them." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are the gardens of Paradise?" He said, "The mosques." It was asked, "And what is grazing, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Saying: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, and Allahu Akbar."

ف: اس حدیث میں مذکور ہے کہ مسجد میں ”سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ وَلَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ“ پڑھنا چاہئے، واضح ہو کہ ان کلمات کے پڑھنے کی جو ترغیب وارد ہے اس سے یہ مقصود نہیں کہ صرف انہی کلمات کا پڑھنا مختص ہے بلکہ ان کلمات کا ذکر تمثیلاً ہے اور مقصود یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر کیا جائے۔(مرقات)12۔
