Hadith 112

Narrated by Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace be upon him): "When Allah created Adam, He struck his right shoulder, and from it He brought forth a white progeny, like grains of sand. Then He struck his left shoulder, and from it He brought forth a black progeny, like masses of charcoal. He said to the ones on the right: 'To Paradise, and I do not care.' And He said to the ones on the left: 'To the Fire, and I do not care.'"
