It is also narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say in his prostration: "O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the small and the great, the first and the last, the open and the hidden."

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ
وسلم (نفل نمازوں کے) سجدہ میں یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے: ”اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْلِيْ ذَنْبِيْ كُلَّهٗ دِقَّهٗ
وَجِلَّهٗ وَاَوَّلَهٗ وَاٰخِرَهٗ وَعَلَانِيَتَهٗ وَسِرَّهٗ“ اے اللہ میرے تمام گناہوں کو بخش دے، صغیرہ ہوں یا
کبیرہ، اگلے ہوں یا پچھلے، ظاہر ہوں یا پوشیدہ۔ (اس کی روایت مسلم نے کی ہے۔)
