Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘There is no negligence in sleep; negligence lies in delaying a prayer until the time of the next prayer begins.’" [Narrated by Muslim]
In another narration: ‘Negligence is not in sleep but in wakefulness—when one delays a prayer until the time of the next prayer.’
