Abdul-Wahid ibn Ayman narrated from his father: I visited Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and she was wearing a Qitri dress worth five dirhams. She said: "Look up at my servant girl, see her, for she takes pride in wearing it in the house. I had one like it during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and no woman in Madinah preparing for marriage would fail to send to me to borrow it."
