Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The most enviable of my friends in my sight is a believer with little wealth, devoted to prayer, who worships his Lord excellently and obeys Him in secret, obscure among people, not pointed out, with sufficient provision, patient with it.” Then he snapped his fingers and said: “His death is hastened, his mourners are few, and his inheritance is little.”
