Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Four people will come out of the Fire and be presented before Allah. Then they will be ordered to return to the Fire. One of them will turn back 1 and say, ‘O my Lord, I had hoped, when You took me out of it, that You would not return me to it.’ He said, ‘So Allah will save him from it.’”

٥٣٧٩ - وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ (رضي الله عنه) أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «يَخْرُجُ مِنَ النَّارِ أَرْبَعَةٌ، فَيُعْرَضُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ، ثُمَّ يُؤْمَرُ بِهِمْ إِلَى النَّارِ فَيَلْتَفِتُ 1 أَحَدُهُمْ، فَيَقُوْلُ: أَيْ رَبِّ لَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَرْجُوْ إِذْ أَخْرَجْتَنِي مِنْهَا، أَنْ لَا تُعِيدَنِي فِيْهَا، قَالَ: فَيُنْجِيْهُ اللَّهُ مِنْهَا». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

سیدنا انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
نے فرمایا: دوزخ سے چار افراد کو نکالا جائے گا اور انہیں اللہ کے حضور پیش کیا جائے گا، پھر انہیں دوزخ کی
طرف لے جانے کا حکم دیا جائے گا تو ان میں سے ایک پلٹے گا2 اور کہے گا: اے میرے رب جس وقت
تو مجھے دوزخ سے نکالا، میں اس بات کی امید رکھا تھا کہ تو دوبارہ مجھے اس میں نہیں لوٹائے گا، آپ نے
فرمایا: تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو دوزخ سے نجات دے گا۔ (مسلم)۔
